As the Chinese economy and its foreign trade continue their rapid growth, Chinese businesses, on the basis of research and innovation while at the same time inheriting and developing traditional techniques, are paying ever more attention to raising the technology content and quality of their products, and to nurturing their own brands names. With ever- growing commitment to after- sales services, environmental protection and social responsibility, Chinese businesses are also focusing more on the promotion of their corporate and their product images. In the meantime, the Chinese Government has invested increasingly more in terms of both materials and manpower in the protection of intellectual property rights. Such endeavors have helped to effectively safeguard the independent innovation capability and brand image of the businesses, thus creating a good environment for the healthy development of Chinese enterprises.
In recent years, some Chinese enterprises have started to establish mature brands, which are increasingly winning international recognition, and enjoying certain influence in the international market like Haier, Lenovo and Changhong, among others, constantly providing quality products and services to the business circles and consumers in Europe.
