China's monthly output of cotton fabric reached 2.524 billion square meters in October, reflecting 17.61 percent year-on-year growth, which followed brisk gains of 20.2 percent to 2.498 billion square meters in September. January through October cumulative cotton fabric production increased 16.58 percent to total 22.783 billion square meters. An increase in market share of cotton versus MMF and blends is one source contributing to this expansion.
