The NBS reports that total Chinese fabric output in January through July expanded 13.86 percent to 27.924 billion square meters. 100-percent cotton fabric output experienced the fastest rate of growth, increasing 17.51 percent to 15.309 billion square meters, which represented 54.84 percent market share. Cotton-blend fabric output only grew 6.25 percent to 4.749 billion square meters, while 100-percent MMF production increased 11.63 percent to 7.8349 billion square meters.
