The US administration will probably not launch anti-dumping investigations on apparel imports from Vietnam. Preliminary data covering the first six months are not showing a dramatic surge in shipments and unit prices were not significantly falling at the start of the year. With a first official report due on September 11, the US Department of Commerce should then say if an anti-dumping investigation is being launched.
